The Sacramento Valley Shooting Center has much to offer both the recreational and competitive shooter. The Center is truly a full service facility that provides a safe place to engage in all shooting sports activities for shooters of all ages. Whether your particular interest is in Rifle, Pistol, or Shotgun there is a range available for your use. Some ranges, however, are restricted to members only and are not open for the general public or visitor's use.

Effective July 22, 2007 
and until further notice,
there will be a minimum of
2 persons on all
non-public shooting ranges. 

Range Rule

In addition to various shooting disciplines, there are a number of training classes and qualification courses offered.

Our range also has a small lake with excellent fishing for members. There are gazebos at one end of the lake at Chizar Park where families and friends can gather for a picnic.

Range elevation = 200 ft Above Sea Level.

Ranges available for security and law enforcement training with rifles and pistols.

The Action Pistol Range has been completed and is now open on weekdays. The major earth moving is complete and the range is awesome with 50 yard long bays.

There is a new discount of 10% on store merchandise for members of the FSC. This is an increase from 8%.

With the change from Daylight Savings to Standard Time on Sunday, November 2nd, the hours at the range will change. Please note that the main range will be open from 8:00 to 4:00 Friday thru Tuesday with no new shooters after 3:00. The shotgun range hourse are 8:00 to 4:00 Saturday & Sunday with no new shooters after 2:30.

The location of the March 2009 Board of Directiors Meeting will be held at
Round Table Pizza on March 17, 2009 at 7:30 PM., 9500 Greenback Lane, Folsom, CA.    916-989-1133.
This meeting only will not be held at the
Hof Brau Restaurant at El Camino and Watt Avenue as the other Board meetins are.
