Murieta Posse

a Member Shooting Discipline of Folsom Shooting Club, Inc.

Murieta Posse is a SASS-affiliated cowboy action shooting club. Matches are scored by "total time," rather than "rank points." Matches are usually 6 stages. Shooters should bring 100 rifle, 100 pistol and 50 shotgun rounds to be prepared for reshoots. Suitable eye and ear protection required for all participants and spectators.

Cost: The regular match fee is $15 dollars. A $5 discount is given to Diamond Dick's Cowboy Town members. Juniors (under 18) shoot free.

New Shooters: New shooters should be familiar with the SASS rules, gun safety and the operation of their own guns. If you have never shot a CAS match before, you need a 1-2 hour orientation. Please schedule in advance by contacting Mike Calvo at 916-354-1027.

We are a SASS affiliated club and operate under The SASS Shooters Handbook, The Range Officer Training Course Level one and Level two, and the Shooting Range Rules of the Folsom Shooting Club.
