We were originally told the road work would affect the Amador County side. It has been changed to the Sacramento County side. Crews are replacing five culverts on Ione Road from Monday, November 2 through Friday, November 13, 2026.
Coming from Highway 16, use one of these detours:
- Dillard Road → Clay Station Road → Ione Road
- Forest Home Road → Carbondale Road → Ione Road
Coming from Twin Cities Road or Highway 88, there is no detour. Your normal route is open.
Instructors and match directors, please pass this along to your students and match attendees before your next event, so nobody runs into the closure on the way in.
