Required orientations / qualifications by range
Access to certain ranges at Sacramento Valley Shooting Center requires completing an orientation course, a qualification shoot, or both. These requirements ensure every shooter understands the layout, rules, and safe operating procedures specific to each range.
Orientations are a practical way to get familiar with the ranges you want to use — whether you’re new to the facility or trying a discipline for the first time. You’ll leave with the knowledge and confidence to make the most of your time on the range.
The table below shows orientation and qualification requirements for each range, including which are open to the public and which are member-only.
